So for all you instrumentalists out there, what model(s) do you use? I have [trumpets] a Bach Aristocrat, a regular Bach, an ANCIENT King, and a Dynasty [corps horn], a Yamaha flugelhorn, an Artley clarinet [evil, vile instrument- I still can't play it and have just about given up on it] and a cello....who's model I actually don't know...hm...it's gorgeous though. I need an a string for it, and haven't played in about 2 years...I should do that...

As far as the trumpets go, the King I only have b/c one summer my trumpet broke and I desperately needed to practice, so my cousin gave me his which used to be his sister's which used to be who knows' and it is just the biggest piece of crap EVER. The Bach was my first ever wayyy back in 4th grade and is really, really, really gross lol. My parents got be the Bach Aristocrat 2 years ago as a replacement, but wouldn't you know it, it just didn't measure up to the Bach. Funny, huh? And the Dynasty I just LOVE. People call me crazy, b/c in reality they're really not very good instruments, but yeah that's where my heart is lol.

So what've you all got?

I'm just looking at the model names of my violins for the first time :P

The violin I own (my first violin) is a beginner violin and I think I'm going to get rid of it in a few years...it's something called a Erich Pfretzschner? Says model 995

the violin I'm renting is pretty nice and rich and is called a Hans Keller (I think I recognize that name) and is made by Eastman Strings
:o Ew I didn't know it was a U.S. made violin

I'm getting a really nice German violin in my junior or senior year :D can't wait
