Well yes. I've been to two schools here in California, and neither one required showers. Most kids dont shower after gym. I agree its kind of a pain, bringing your stuff every day. But I do it cause I don't like to stink all afternoon, and my mom never bitches about making sure I have a clean towel every morning, in fact she is really into hygeine and stuff, so interrogates me about it, and insists I shower at school. At the pool and for swim team, everyone showers, but lots of kids leave there suits on in the shower, then change real fast afterward. I'd say maybe half of us or less shower naked. Probably more swimmers get naked because kids on a swim team are already kind of comfortable with their bodies, or they wouldn't be willing to be out at the pool with just a speedo. Still, its all choice, there is no requirement to shower after. But the chlorine makes your hair a funny color if you don't....
