losing friends

The year just started and I'm already starting to lose my friends, one by one. It happens every year. Help?

People change, personalitys evolve, no one stays the same forver. I met Sam Snowdon a few days ago (my BEST friend all through pre school) and he didnt even recognise me, once I explied who I was we talked a while and as it turns out, we don't even like each other anymore, in fact I found his persoanlity a little abrasive.
See the point I'm trying to make? People change, friendships end and new ones come along, don't be afraid of it, it's the way society works. Think of it as social evolution.

Then make some new ones. It happens, there have been so many friends who I lost contact with because of a new school, different classes. We grow up and we hang out with different sets of people. We don't always get along with the same type of people we used to. Don't worry about it. You can always try to get into contact with your old friends, while you try to find new people to meet. Find a club or a group at your school, or take up a hobby which you can meet new people to befriend. Don't feel to sad about it, this is normal and it happens a lot. Usually at the start of the school year it is more common to not keep in touch with old friends and things.

You should ask your"friends" why. Then we may be able to help you better

many things change in and out of school - I think mainly the social circle increases and people have more interests and some more freedom maybes are you actually falling out with people?
