Back story: Brandon Hobbs is a kid that I was in math with and have known for the past few years. I never did like him. We got along okay though. He's a drug dealer and an overall bad kid. Well, he done fucked up this time:

2 Minnesota Teens Lead Deputies on Chase Updated: Sunday, September 28 2014, 04:57 PM CDT MT. VERNON, IA (CBS2/FOX28) -- Two Minnesota teens are facing charges after a high-speed chase Saturday evening. It began at about 6:50 PM when a Linn County Sheriff's Deputy attempted to stop a vehicle that was traveling at 90 MPH westbound on Highway 30 in the Cedar River Road area. As the deputy attempted to catch up with the vehicle, it crossed the median and continued eastbound on Highway 30 until it lost control in the roundabout at the intersection of Highway 30 and Highway 1 in Mt. Vernon. The vehicle struck a tow truck in the intersection causing minor damage to the tow truck. The driver of the tow truck was uninjured. The two in the vehicle then ran from the area, but were caught by police. The driver was identified as Brandon J. Hobbs, 17, of Savage, Minnesota. He was taken to St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids with minor injuries and will be taken to the Linn County Juvenile Detention Center upon his release. He will face charges from the chase as well as drug related charges. The passenger was identified as Taylor Casper, 18, of Apple Valley, Minnesota. Casper was uninjured and taken to the Linn County Jail on drug related charges. The incident remains under investigation.

This is partially the reason why I'm afraid of everything and everyone. You never know who someone is until they're on the news for something awful.

You do in some cases, but even the police here does a good job on solving serious crimes like armed robbery, homicide and kidnapping.

So sad. Small world. Running from the police never works. They are always gonna catch you. I never seen one person get away from a police car chase. Might as well pull over because the longer you run from the police, the longer your jail time is. :(

I ran away from 'em once. I ran into a mall and took off my hoodie in the bathroom, pulled out my jeans from the boots and left. They chased me and my friends because we refused a search without an adecuate reason, which they didn't have. They violated the constitution several times there. Prosecuting us without us violating the law and searching us without a valid reason.

lmao I was going to work yesterday morning and got behind a Jeep Wrangler that had some punk ass kid driving...he was all over the road and had his right tires all the way over the white line into the grass shoulder most of the time. erratic and dangerously slow braking, obviously hammered or high. he finally turned...at the high school. that shit pissed me off big time and if I hadn't been driving with expired tags thanks to my roommate I would have followed him into the parking lot and then turned in his license plate number to the principal and maybe hopefully get to see this go down:

So your one of those people who thinks they're a lawyer. Just don't argue and it can be fixed later. Did you have anything illegal.

I'm not a lawyer. I simply know my rights under the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia. And getting groped by some random cop and chased for no apparent reason is violation of my rights. We didn't have anything illegal, but what they'll do is take us to the station, call our parents to pick us up since they can't hold us. It's an hour or more wasted and I'll not stand idly and let a cop violate my rights. We didn't break the law in any way. Those cops who are supposed to enforce it did. They always send idiots like that for on-foot patrols.
