At what age is it ok to start dating?
When did you start dating?

At whatever age you feel comfortable doing so, everyone develops at a different rate, so some people may start earlier than others, so long as they're not like 5 or 6, obviously.
I started dating someone at the age of 14,

I'd say dating anywhere under age 10 or so is a bit in appropriate. However, I haven't started dating yet at age 15, but maybe, I'll ask my crush...soon.

I don't know, I don't really date. Don't have time for it, I have to worry about school. Like if there is someone who I like we can go out, but I don't consider that dating. I guess it matters on that person's situation and how their family feels about it.

This is a good answer.
Whenever you feel ready. It varies from person to person, so there is no concrete age when it becomes acceptable. But dating in your early teen years doesn't always work out very well because of levels of maturity.

I mean, whatever floats your boat is how I view when to 'date', I mean when you're in the younger section of your teens there is about a 90% chance, the relationship will fail. There is literally nothing stopping you dating when you're like 12 but, should you? All depends on how you feel about it. It's your feelings and emotions and all that jazz. Whenever you feel like you want to date, is when you should. I personally started dating at 14, then spent like a couple years single, then it was a bunch of relationships that didn't work. Now, I don't want to be in a 'dating' scenario. Later teen years seem like the best time to date, personally.

You should start dating whenever you feel comfortable doing it and it's something that you really want to do. Some start at 13/14, others wait a few more years as they have other priorities in their early teens. Just don't be pulled in by what others think :)

I started at 13. However I've known plenty of people who first dated at like 16/17. It's really whenever you find the right person and you started dating.

I first started dating when I was 16, which is fine.
I know people who started when they were 13, and I know people who are in their early 20's and haven't dated yet. It's all about when you are comfortable.

It depends what you define dating. Do you define dating as going to a movie with someone or kissing them. If you define it as number one then ive been dating for 9 years when i was age 4 because i have a had a friend that was a girl for 11 years. Check out my thread on it. But i would have been dating for 9 years if not then i am not dating and have not because i haven't kissed anyone yet. I think a good age for dating is freshman or sophomore year in high school because any younger than that you don't know what you are doing in my opinion.

At what age is it ok to start dating? It depends on the person, but I wouldn't let my (theoretical future) kids go on unchaperoned dates until they were probably 15/16. Maaaaybe 14 if they were mature. If they wanted to have little mock dates at my house, hang out with some friends, etc. That's be ok.
But seriously, if you're not old enough to pay (either with your allowance or income) for a date, and not old enough to get there or at least go places on your own in a responsible manner, you're not old enough to date a person alone.
It'd also depend on the age of the person they were with
All in all, it depends on a lot of things, but I'd say that if you constitute a date as spending time with someone alone to get to know them better romantically/etc. (And I do) 13/14 is the youngest probably.
When did you start dating? 10. It was ridiculous. I should've waited until my first significant boyfriend (who later became my fiancé), and I was 14, almost 15 by then. I would've been saved a lot of bullshit.

I'm not sure there's really a set age.
I believe when we feel comfortable and mature enough to know what dating really is,
Then we would be ok to actually start. But no younger than 12 or something, obviously

I started at 13, though I had my first kiss way before that (10 or so)

personally, i believe that whatever age is ok to start dating as long as you're not really young. it all depends on how comfortable you feel with it. some people want to start at 12, some people start at 20. it's alright with any age you want to start dating, as long as you're not being pressured into it and you really want too.
like i had a few dumb kid 'relationships' when i was in the third and fourth grade, but my first actual boyfriend was when i was in seventh grade.

There's no age, it's more about maturity. I think the definition of dating also changes as you age. I had my first boyfriend at 14
