My dads a officer in the Metropolitan Police and so is my uncle. I want to be one too when i'm older. I know a lot of officers as ive grown up around them and can tell you that out of all the officers I know, and that is a lot, none of them would give me any reason to distrust them. My dad works his arse off to help others. He does stupidly long days and is massively underpaid for what he does. He goes to work leaving my mum, me and my brothers and sister everyday and puts his life on the line to protect and help others. Now don't get me wrong there are always a very small percentage that give them a bad name, but they are the ones the media pick up on, not the ones that face getting seriously injured or killed each day. Don't always believe what you read in the papers and see on the TV or the internet. Its usually spun to make headlines or the footage is cut to show certain parts. Remember they are normal people like you or me.

if you don't give a shit, why'd you even bother posting on this thread? Is it just to look cool about hating the cops. The people that don't like them are the people that have come across them, usually because they've done something wrong and feel they have been wronged by being caught.

My dad isn't an arsehole, he's a hard working, decent law abiding man. I take great offence to people labelling all officers. If you want to play it that way, then you too sir are an arsehole.

As to Officer Wilson, I don't know much about the incident other than what I've seen on TV. It would be wrong for me to comment on it as I wasn't there. There's always two sides to every story and very officer has to justify his reactions.

Stop hating cops, you'll be the ones your screaming down the phone for when someone's robbed your mum, or your homes been burgled.

Sad that there are still people like that out there and police officers at that. There's no need for any of that kind of stuff :( I'm sure all the other officers in his police department will be delighted with the way he's portrayed them. :(

Just curious, If this situation was reversed and the person behind the racist Facebook page was Asian, Hispanic, black or any other race, making derogatory, demeaning, bigoted statements against whites.., would this even be a news story? Probably NOT.

Now I know that some idiot/moron/intellectually inferior individual with try to attack me/call me a racist for pointing this fact out. (which is pretty lame/ weak )


One of my pet peeves is hypocrisy however.....bigoted attitudes toward any race is wrong I think we all agree with that, don't we, so I don't' agree with this gentleman attitude/actions but I am really annoyed and tired of this attitude that if whites actions or speech is short of anything but praising/ placing upon pedestal other races, people try to play the race card and it receives mainstream media coverage. Yet if any other races say anything derogatory/bigoted thing about whites , it is ignored(often encouraged).., no adverse outcomes, no firings, no destruction of peoples business empires, no outcry what so ever. Lets be honest, simple observation, look around you, There are plenty of websites, youtube videos and Facebook pages demeaning, derogatory and bigoted towards whites yet not outcry, no closing of the accounts. Just more of the Anti white attitudes people are being indoctrinated with( or white guilt that whites are being indoctrinated with)

He was stupid. The t-shirt wasn't exactly a thing to cause an uproar about, however the fact that he made racist comments is unacceptable, especially for someone in a position of trust.

I'm all for free speech, however, his prejudiced opinions may impact on his work and result in unfair arrests/treatment. Racism towards any race - by any race - is always unacceptable; so don't think that I'm just jumping on the bandwagon because he is Caucasian.
