I'm 13 and my voice is starting to break. When I speak, my voice goes high pitched and sometimes it just totally goes. Has anyone got any suggestions???

Yea, can't really fight it. It's sadly one of those things that you just have to deal with. I am 15 and it still happens to me occasionally, when it does, I just go with it and try to act like it didn't happen. People really shouldn't make fun of you for it seeing as how it happens to them as well.

It happens to us. You stuck until it settles down. It will do eventually

There really isn't any ways for you to control it. Eventually your voice will break and your new natural deep voice will come. It happens to everyone and it's apart of life. Men are supposed to have deep voices and it's just natures way of letting that happen. :)

ive been taking voice lessons for seven years now. "the change" as my voice coach tells me is inevitable, and all you can do is go with it. i have been in boys choir since the second grade and my voice started changing when i was ten. but it has been a bit rough for a couple of those years and i think i am passed it now.

Your voice is changing but I refuse to let mine drop so I speak in a higher tone and constantly keep doing it untill it became normal for me. My voice cracks some but it doesn't crack all that much and I can stil sing VERY high, I sing C7 easily and D7 is as high as I can sing for now, but as I said, speak in a higher tone and it may help but it will take time, BUT it won't get rid of it completely.
