Well, what is it?

I've had 2 girlfriends and one boyfriend, yet I have never once "flirted", I don't really even know how to define it. What is it? What sort of wording counts as flirting?

I was talking to one of my old GF's and apparantly I flirted with her all the time before we dated, but I didn't even know I was doing it, because I don't know how to define it, I'm a very upfront person, I'll talk to a new person the way I would a person I've known for years. SO is that it? Just being confident and upfront?

Flirting in my definition is making comments on a potential mate to let them knwo that they're in your scopes. Basically pickup lines (even though they rarely ever work), comments on a persons appearance and the like.

Flirting can be anywhere from just being overly friendly to using cheesy pick up lines. In my experience flirting has been just being very friendly. Flirting with your eyes, smiling a lot when talking to a person. Make eye contact, showing extreme interest in a person, asking questions, laughing a lot at what the other people say. Then there is cheesy flirting with horrible pick up lines.

It is basically using hints, small talk and body language which can translate into showing love and attraction towards a person. It is hard to tell when someone is flirting or how to do it well. If you want to flirt just try to make the person laugh or make your presence known in a sensual way.

Actually I've flirted with more girls than I can think of. I'm not sure how to exactly define it but its like talking.... Playfully and hinting with the way you talk, move, ECT. Something like physical attraction.
