I know there a place to talk about the music we listen to, but how about a place for people who play instruments or sing to talk about making music. Such as what do you like to play/sing? And such stuff. Maybe some discussion on the hardest music you've ever sang/played.
Just an idea.

I think we used to have a diary about all that. But I think the music forum covers it really.

Ya, we used to have the "Band Nerds" diary but the forum or my diary could cover it.

I think that that is what the music forum is for, but also, once I get my diary, which could be a while, there will be musical discussion galore! I am a band nerd type person, so yeah. You could always just post that stuff in the music forum.
We could also just have a musician's sub-forum.

The music forum hasn't been an inviting place for musicians to talk about playing music and stuff (or at least for me, and I'm a musician). I think all the 4th wall is mainly for popular music discussion anyway, or that's how it feels
Ya, we used to have the "Band Nerds" diary but the forum or my diary could cover it.
I think it never got popular enough
I think that we shouldn't have an entire major forum dedicated to musicians since people haven't been asking for it for a long time (unlike a general forum, games forum, homework forum, etc)
I suggest that you create a diary and invite all the musicians there! I know we have a few more people who play instruments on the site than we used to and it would be great to have a place to talk about what we do with music :D

Thanks MoveAlong! That's how I feel about it.
Maybe I'll make a diary some time.

As I said, when my diary gets made, MUSICIAN FRENZY!!!!!
And it is cool to notice how many people are into playing music, so maybe if lots of people start speaking out for a musician's forum, it might get made.

Well its all about supply and demand. If there is a demand we will make a forum. I don't think it is there as of now. We have the Music forum in the 4th Wall which I think for the moment covers it nicely.

Petition, anyone? Lol. But as MoveAlong said, we musicians aren't that comfortable posting in a forum where pop culture reigns supreme. Maybe if there was a change in the description that caused the forum to welcome musicians into the discussion?

I think I diary will do for now, I don't think we need to change any of our major forums right now

Well, I'd love for a musician forum, it'd make me a happy individual. If there were a petition i'd definitely sign it.

I think the music forum should be sufficient. Don't worry about the pop culture threads. No one should freak out if you make musician-related posts. :P
