Making myself appear taller?

I have a character from a manga I read that I want to be for Halloween(Fang from Maximum Ride). I'm already pretty tall, but my character is a bit taller than I am. Is there anyway I can make myself appear taller? I'm going to have to wear a wig or something so maybe something to do with that?

Tall shoes, vertical stripes. I'm not sure if you can do that if you have to fit a certain character but that's all I can think of.
