How do I keep this long distance relationship up?

Hey, I got a girlfriend 1 1/2 months ago, the problem is she moved to Madison, Wisconsin. I live in Las Vegas, Nevada. I really like this girl, but I've been busy with school lately and haven't had much time to talk with her., so I'm gonna talk to her this weekend. I really want to keep this relationship alive, but the 6 state distance is a huge obstacle for me. I don't know how I can keep her happy when she lives so far away. I really like this girl, so please give me advice on how to keep this relationship alive.

I will be completely honest with you and say that the chances of your relationship lasting is slim to nothing. This is only because your relationship had been in the early stages when you first met (1 1/2 months) and you don't have very much to grow on via long distance. But you can still enjoy the relationship while it lasts right now.

Try to find the time to talk to her. No relationship--long distance or not--will last if you do not find time to bond with each other. You have to make the time or else someone will quickly lose interest. Once a day can sometimes be a lot to ask of someone but if you are serious about trying then do so. If you can't find the time to Skype or text a lot then maybe try for the old fashion letter writing. Not only is this a fun way to get to know each other but it can be easier then the new age instant way of chatting. You can write long paragraphs to each other, tell each other about your days/week, send actual photographs and so much more without the pressure of seeing the "Blank is typing" under the chat screen or knowing you text them at 5pm and it is now 8pm.

Remember to show interest. Do NOT request pictures that are inappropriate, do not try to chat with each other in inappropriate ways. This never leads to a successful RELATIONSHIP. If it suits you, text her every morning and wish her a great day. Remind her of how beautiful you think she is. It does not take very long to send one text message straight out of bed. Females love to feel wanted, thought of, all of the above.
