I Lost A Best Friend?! ��

So, I have, or had, a really good friend of mine for about a few years. I'm 15 and her 14.(possibly 15 now) We always hung out together and even though she had a bf, I knew and felt she had feelings towards me, as in love. We have shown affection which was mostly hugs. We were really good friends and anyone could tell. We aint never had a problem in our friendship at all.Anyways I moved in December and that's the last I thought I would ever see her. In February I started a relationship with my gf who I am still with to this day. Anyways I got back in touch with my friend(Emily) about two weeks ago. She was so excited to tall and i could tell by her voice. After knowing her a long ass time I could tell. Anyways I asked what's new in her life and she talked about some things. And she asked what's new with me and one of the things I said was, I'm in a relationship. She sounded happy for me. In the past when I lived near her I loved her and I know she had the same feelings towards me too. Anyways after the phone call she said she'll be busy the rest of the week with some important school stuff and to call her back the next week, last week. I contacted her Thursday through text, and she said "listen I don't really want to talk to you anymore, sorry"....I was blown away. My best friend?! The I texted back and asked what the deal was and also said "I mean, we're great friends!". She replied with "no we aren't really" .....now I knew it wasn't true, what she said but damn. So she asked me to not talk to her again. I don't know why she asked this cuz there was never a problem. And this isn't the same girl I know. I still have feelings for her and I know she does or didm but I am staying with my current gf. Me and my friends think it may be that she still loved me, and realizing that I moved on because of the move that she thinks I am done with her? And she feels betrayed and heartbroken because she loved me and I'm with someone now and our friendship didn't go like she wanted? I still don't know why but I am considering asking her on the 5th to give her some time because I don't know what to do ! I am ok with her and I not being a bf n gf. But sure as hell not ok losing a friend. One thing I know is in January I'm going with a group to a camp and she will be with the same group like the past 5 years and I will be there along with my gf who is going to hopefully be there. And I will see Emily. Does anyone know how to help? And what could be the reason why she ended the friendship? Please help. If there's anything you would need to know that could help you help me that I didn't add in this thread, don't hesitate to ask. Please help me. I can't lose her as a friend ��

Just ask her. Im sure she'll come around. All friends come back eventually

If you want to know her reasons you have to ask her I'm afraid. It's a kinda difficult situation and I really have no idea how to best solve this. Could get rather awkward at the camp, I'm afraid. Maybe Emily? is jealous ...or she had completely different reasons. You can only try to talk to her if you really want to save your friendship or respect what she told you and not bother her again. It's your choice.

I think your friend is feeling betrayed and hurt. She may still have had feelings for you and may have felt bad that after shifting you decided to be in a relationship with someone else. You need to give her some time.

I think maybe she is under stress or she has a bf and the bf found out that you guys txted and talked and was angry and made her stop talking to u. Try to connect with her at camp when she in not with her bf
