I'm a very unathletic guy, and most (I don't know, maybe all) of the guys (or everyone) in our class basically looks down on me for being so not sporty...
Any advice for me and people experiencing the same thing? Please don't tell me to just try out sports or whatever because I have, and it was probably the worst time of my life.
Thanks :)

Become comfortable with yourself, I'm not that athletic and I was teased, but I make up for it by being funny and smart. Try to find something you're good at, and use that to your advantage.

Find something else that you're good at, master it, and then they won't be able to look down on you! That's what I did

There is nothing wrong with being un-atheistic. Im not all that athletic myself and when I get made fun of, I just ignore it, sometimes I say, I unlike you guys don't feel the need to show off that you can hit a ball or throw it in a goal, anyone can do it..... some can aim better than others but everyone can do it. One day, if you stop and watch them playing, take a big wiff and you can actually smell the testosterone, its funny when you have a group of guys togehter tryin to be cool B| Ya know ? Hope this helped :)

I'm not athletic, and I'm not into sports either. To those who look down on you, you should just ignore them. Although I do jog, and exercise to stay healthy.

I am not at all sporty but had a great skinny body with 6 packs that looked very sporty...problem is after hitting 16 I have started to fill out and my abs and features are getting softer...now I got a small tummy roll and 2 little mboobs too...Cos I was not sporty I cannot find the energy or fitness to start working out...RIght now I cannot run even 200 meters withotu getting out of breath and can do only 5 crunches.....So I am fighting a losing battle against weight.

I do no sports and most of my friends do. Sure they are much more muscular than me, but I honestly don't care and they still like me well enough even though I don't share their love for sports. If you're friends look down on you for not liking something they like, they aren't friends

Why do u let not being athletic bother you?
Everyone is different, so just find what suits you.

Do not judge yourself by other peoples opinions - there will be other things you are good at / better at than the athletic guys.

you need to become more comfortable with who you are and learn what other strengths you have to make up for what you consider your weaknesses are. once you do all of this it should no longer matter what people think of you or your abilities.

Being unathletic doesn't matter as long as your teen metabolism holds.
When past 15 and ur metablism slows down u will find ur "athletic looking", skinny body becoming softer. And then you're helpless, u are not fit to work the new fat out .......
It's really embarrasing whn ur frnds and realtins see & comment abt ur weight gain.....
I've gone from skinny 45 kg/26" waist to 64kg/36" waist in 2 yrs....and still gaining abt 1kg per month......
I stll can hide my tummy and big butt in baggy clothes & I am going to college soon and plan to let it all go and gain as I please without ppl seeing & commenting.
Lickily my GF finds my new chub cute & dont mind me getting a bit chubby even.

Sports aren't for everyone. If you don't want to do sports, then don't let the fact that people/friends look down at you for not doing it get to you. That's just them, be yourself.
If it really gets to you, then just do what I did in middle and high school. Starting middle school, we always had to do a mile run during P.E. I was in competition with a friend who always got first, and I always tried to catch up to him. Long story short, I never caught up to him but always managed to be in second place.
I never did sports, and my high school classmates thought of me just like how yours are doing. If you at least put effort in running and make it as first or close to first with the fastest runner in your P.E class, then they should lay off some. Middle and high school kids can be weird sometimes; a little bit of some kind of recognizable act and they lay off on the pushy behavior.
But yeah, that's just me talking from experience. Do whatever makes you feel good, and don't let what others think get to you.

Hey, I'm am a un-athletic guy too and I tell people that all the time. I an incapable at every sport. Just be upfront about it with your friends. Do what you are good at (academic, music, drama, etc.) instead of trying to play sports. There is a basic level of sport you need to have though.

have you thought about weight lifting? swimming? golfing? or any other activity where you can have some kind of common friends with those kinds of interests?

TBH it doesn't 100% matter if you're not athletic, I mean not everyone's built for it and once you get out of high school you'll find that there'll be a lot more people like you.
But it is still important to stay healthy with weight, exercise, eating etc. So even if you might not be the fastest sprinter, it doesn't mean you can't do light jogs in your own time :)

Being athletic isn't everything. I am because I play for the school football team

Don't worry man, as long as u are happy with yourself nobody else's opinion matters. Remember the only person you need to impress is u.

^ well said. I play football and baseball for school, but I have plenty of friends who don't play or watch sports. If your happy with yourself then that's all that really matters
