in health class we were talking abt LGBT and a some people made a comment that no one can say they are gay/lesbian with out trying the opposite sex. and that we choose to be gay. I am gay I dnt need to try vagina to know that I wont like it. one guy even sd gay guys should just get a sex change. If I had a choice I wouldn't have chosen my life to be difficult and to be ridiculed by society or ignorant classmated for that matter. Is there something wrong me? is it because my penis is too small Is the reason why I am gay?

Being gay just means you find boys more attractive than girls. You don't have to have sex with anyone to know which gender turns you on the most. Being small or wimpy having a small penis etc doesn't make you gay (even though all that applies to me aha). There's lots of rough tough athletes who are gay.

There is nothing wrong with you. Your classmates just sound ignorant in my opinion, but there is nothing wrong with you. You don't have to try relationships with women if you don't wish to, because you are what you were at birth and will always be that. I don't really think it should matter that much, but people are entitled to believe and think how they want.

Your classmates are just being ignorant, which means you have two options:
-Inform them properly
-Ignore them
Personally, I doubt they're mature enough to listen to the former.

It's just the ignorant society we live in. Things are changing, things are.. Maybe not as fast as we would like, but society is starting to come to grips with the fact that there ARE gay people in this world are we are NOT different species etc.
Stand up for yourself when you come out, you are who you are - Don't let anyone change that.

dude, your penis has nothing to do with your being gay or being straight. i have learned that we have no control over who or what we like because its just part of our make up -- we were created/born this way. We have about as much control over our sexual preference as we do controlling the weather, its not up to us.

Your class just sounds really ignorant and misinformed. I'm going to stand by Ren on this one and say try to educate and inform them to the best of your ability, although by the sound of it, your class is probably on the younger side and still a little too immature to be grasping the concept of how skewed their perceptions are. It'll improve as you get older.

In class? did your teacher not intervene in this wash of ignorance and discrimination?

Dude being gay is wanting to kiss boys, hug boys, love boys, or the anybody the same gender as you. i hate when people say i chose to be gay. I was born gay. I want to kiss, hug, hold, love, and spend my life with another male. Being gay is sooo much more than sex. It's about love. Pure and simple love. In the beutifullest fasion. You cannot listen to other people. Penis size has nothing to do with love. A penis is just part of a man. There is so much more. Theres personality, theres the affection and emotions shared between two young lovers. You need to understand this before yu say that YOU are gay.

Penis size and sexuality share no correlation that I know of. You do not have to "try out" sex with a women to know you don't like them anymore than straight people have to try out sex with the same gender to confirm their heterosexuality. I would attempt to counter their incorrect claims with the truth, but you could probably just ignore them if you want.

Simply tell them they can't say their straight until they try the same sex.

*facepalm × 10,000* About the first comment, I am a virgin, but I, and only I know what gives me a boner, guys* (only certain types of guys) give me a boner, I jank it to guys. I am not interested in girls whatsoever.
The second comment is confusing sexual orientation with gender identity. Just because I am a male that is attracted to other males, doesn't mean I feel I should be a woman.
