I'm guessing that depends from one guy to another. I know that for me I don't get erect very quickly, so I would consider a semi-erection sort of half way through the process of a penis get erect.

It means that you are partially-aroused, and more stimulation will give you a full erection, and yet if there is no more stimulation with the penis, and he can have time to think about something else, the partial erection may subside.

semi-erect is the point in between being soft and fully erect, its like you just swell up some but dont get fully hard.

i used to be either completely soft or completely hard. now my penis gets semi-erect at times, it's noticeable that i'm not soft, but i'm not fully hard either. i could easily become erect if i don't think about something like math, and that doesn't work all the time. a recent development of which i have my body to thank :)

Like when you're completely soft, you're usually shorter than when you're semihard. When you're semihard, it's like you're dick is starting to get hard and increases in size/length (like it should when you get hard) but it just hangs there, it doesn't point upward and it usually feels like it does when you're soft.

Here, i'll give u an example of when im semi-erect...

I didn't mean it happens in 1 second literally. But the in between soft and hard happens pretty fast. It never seems to be partly hard for any length of time. That's what I couldn't relate to was having a half hard erection for any length of time. mine is still on the small and thin side for 14 so maybe that's it. i tried to get it to just go half hard, but once it starts to fill up it doesn't stop until it's hard as a rock.

i've been doing that for a while now. not fully hard, but not all the way soft. but lately i've been noticing that my soft is longer than it used to be. it dangles down, and when i get hard, it slowly pumps up to being large.

i have also noticed that until i am about ready to ejaculate, i am pretty hard, but when i get real close i get rock hard and it seems to grow another inch and it is very very hard.
