Ok, well i am 14 and i noticed last year when i started styling my hair that i have bald patches on either side of the temple. I can't tell if i have lost anymore hair since then, but it is increidibly annoying and i want to know if this means i am balding as it is already noticeable.
Also my dad has the exact same hairline as me, and he is 47. Does this mean it might be hereditary?

I don't think you're balding yet. How big are the bald patches? I think it's hereditary if your dad has the same hairline.

This may just be your normal hairline. I have spots by my temples that are a lot farther back and thinner than the rest of my hair. It's been like that forever. For some people it's normal.

It's probably just a hereditary thing, not balding. Hairlines can look different on certain people.
