Getting My Period On During a Overnight School Trip

I don't tend to like overnight school trips but i was actually kind of exited for this one until i checked my period schedule and found out that i will most likely get my period while i am on the trip. I have managed on previous trips to hide it fairly well but not only has my flow gotten heavier since then but instead of sleeping in cabins we will be sleeping in tents with a few other people. This trip is not mandatory but my BF all of my friends are going and i would really like to go too.

Are you on the birth control pill? Because if you are you can just skip to the next pack, which is perfectly safe if you only do so once in awhile.

Otherwise just pack plenty of extra supplies. No need to let your period get in the way of something you want to do. It may suck but you'll be fine. If you usually use a tampon, wear a pad too or double up on pads.

This has happened to me before.....
You can't let Mother Nature stop you living your life.

I get heavy periods so I just double up....with wearing a pad and having a tampon in.
Just keep on top of when you change. Most pads/tampons are discreet enough that they can be snuggled unnoticed to the bathroom.

At nights, make sure you wear pyjama trousers and underwear to help
