Ok so at my school, showering isn't required after gym until high school. I am kinda nervous for next year when I will have to shower with my class mates. I have been asked multiple times if I was gay but I always answer no (Not completely true) I am nervous about just being naked in front of people at all and about people knowing that i'm not completely straight. I go to a school where I could get in a lot of trouble for that. It would be terrible. What should I do?

I've never had a problem being naked with guys my age who are also naked. I think probably at least one guy a day has an erection in showers and locker room. We are all going through puberty and all get erections no matter what. No way for someone to know if I'm gay seeing me naked, even if I have a boner.

I don't shower naked at school, infact I don't shower at all. However I do shower naked at my sports events (sometimes). I have had comments from some people saying that they "don't want to see my penis", but then again, they don't have to?

Those people are simply insecure about themselves. Get in, get changed, get washed, get out. Simples.

Its required that we shower after phys ed and sports, so seeing others naked is nothing out of the usual for me and boys get boners all the time while in there and no one seems to pay attention to it. I am gay and its happened to me a few times, but i just made it a point to get cleaned up, get out, and get dressed as fast as I could -- no worries.

I would say, just start doing it this year so you are used to it by the time you actually have to do it. Im not saying do it every day after gym this year, but I would do it every once in a while so I wouldn't freak out when I actually had to do it.

I had the same thing here. It wasn't obligatory at first but then we "had" to.
Trust me. The first time you'll shower you'll be too anxious to get aroused. That's what happened for me, at least.

Don't worry, be yourself, if you get a boner think many kids have boners in public showers or locker rooms, it's normal and common.

I wouldn't worry too much about other people thinking you're gay. From what I know lots of guys get boners in public showers, and most of the time others will not care. If you really wanna play it safe the only thing you can do to prevent a boner is not to have sexual thoughts.

Don't worry about it dude, most people will not care what you are doing in the shower. If you want, wear swim trunks, that's what I and about a third of the guys on my team do.

Well, we're all teenage guys that are going through puberty and all that fun stuff so our hormones are raging and well... we get random boners. We can't help that ( you can't help that ), you shouldn't worry about that, I meanyou can't help getting them. Im not sure what to tell you exactly but all I can say is, try focusing on what you're doing. Go in, take a shower and get out. try to focus looking upwards but not like at the ceiling ya know ? hope this helped

Just get in and get out. If I were you, I wouldn't look at anyone during the shower to lower the chances of getting a boner.

I guarantee that you won't be the only ine worrying about it. Your all going to be in the same boat so jut relax as much as your can. pretty much all guys have got a boner in the school showers at some point. I've been shower naked in school for the last two years and I still get them occasionally, but I also notice that other guys do too. You'll be fine

Don't stress about it man. If you have to shower then there is nothing you can do about it and no point in worrying about something you can't change.
