So.
I'm 14 and 107 pounds. Ever since about a year ago I've realised that i've gained weight. Although I have barely grown in height or muscle. I don't really do any sports as the only options are Basketball (I'm 4"11), soccer, hurling and gaelic (Irish sports). I enjoy every now and again to go on a cycle (5k). I try to only eat sweet stuff(chocolate, crisps, chips, ice cream) once a week. In school last week we did a half km jog in PE and It was hard for me. Twice a year we also have to do a 1 mile run. You can imagine that I found that hard. I feel quite embarresed when I take my shirt off. I don't know what exericises to do.
PLEASE HELP

Well I'm not exactly a body-builder or trainer or anything, but I have a few tips. Try doing little exercises. Push-ups, sit-ups, jumping jacks, that stuff. I know running may be hard for you but try to do small runs maybe every other day. Also, there Are special running apps on smartphones. I used an app called "Couch to 5K". It's really cool. I could barely run for 1-2 minutes without gasping for air. Now I can easily run 5Ks without gasping for air. Also try to eat lean and definitely watch what you're eating! Hope this helps!! :)

Reduce your intake of sweets from once a week to only once as a reward for losing a certain amount of weight. Do an appropiate diet basing yourself on the amount of calories you need daily, and shifting that number everyday. And exercise properly, cardio will help you more than any given sport or strenght training.

i don't think you should reduce the time period of sweets you eat, but maybe how many of them you eat when you do. Cheat meals are important, they are the key to keep a good nutrition, if you don't have cheat meals at least once or twice a week, you're more likely to drop off in the long run. With that said, the rest of the week try to eat a lot of vegetables, complex carbs, whole grains, good fat like olive oil and most important: DONT DRINK YOUR CALORIES!!!! You see, with these few tips, plus at least 20 min of cardio a day, the fat will drop off by itself.

I agree with the above, a combination of healthy balanced diets when eating the right stuff and good cardiovascular exercise and you'll notice a big difference in a few weeks.
Create yourself a fitness plan and an eating plan. Plenty of home cooked food that you can control what goes in to it (cutting out unwanted additives)
Cut out things like bread and wheat based products
Replace pastas with rice
There's lots of great advice online that will certainly help.
Hope all works out xx

Yeah! Planning your meals the week end for the upcoming week is a great way to keep up the good nutrition.
