I really like this guy but I just don't know how to get over him? I met him online a few weeks ago as friends and since then I've been wanting to talk to him and have had thoughts about meeting him irl. It's driving me nuts because I've been dealing with a lot in school (I can say it's because of my mental disorders) and that's the only reason why I can think this "online" relationship exists. I'm only happy because of him and I'm scared I'm not relying on myself enough for my happiness. Should I just wait until I'm done with school and see him? or should I just move on and forget about him? :confused:

I really like your mature attitude to recognise how this guy is really making you feel. I think the first thing you need to do if you're wanting to get over him is to delete all his contact details online and stay away from anywhere where you might see him post things. I went through something similar with a girl. With online stuff you make your memories through reliving convos you've had and stuff. I found by deleting those, it made things easier. The memories were deleted and it made it easier to forget about her. Apart from that, getting over with someone online is not much different then getting over a real life person.
