I was planning on donning an ice wizard costume, but it was too shoddy to actually pull off at this age. I'm planning on making a male version of the outfit on my current avatar if I ever get over my reluctance to actually do it.

I love Halloween! Sadly I've never had a costume or parties to go to. I want to be a wizard one night or a pumpkin-head sorcerer, or even an ice wizard, but they never happened.

I try to, they're not top notch costumes but at least the idea I'm wearing a costume is understood. I think I may be able to pull it off, but I'm short on money for fabric I hope I can get enough for this week.

There are tons of things you could dress up as. You could just go to a party store and see if any costumes catch your eye, or you could think through your interests and see if there is any, say, characters from a book you'd want to dress as.

My parents never let me celebrate Halloween, and I live in a great neighborhood for Trick-or-Treating, so tons of kids come. I used to watch the kids out the window, or if my mom decided to give out candy I'd do it, and when people asked me why I wasn't going Trick-or-Treating, I said I was doing it later. When adults asked my mom why I didn't go, my mom said I didn't want to, which is a huge lie and she knows it. She still says that. Finally last year she said I could go as long as I took my two younger siblings (I painted some whiskers on my face and called myself a cat), it was one of the best nights of my life, and I hope to god she'll let me go again this year. I have a costume too, I had to get a devil costume for a show I was in so I'm all good. She just has to let me go. She hinted a little bit at me using the devil costume for Halloween so hopefully that means she'll be okay with it.

I'll probably just play around with makeup and wear weird clothes, since I'm on my own for a costume.
For you though, find inspiration from your favorite video games, movies, etc. Go as your favorite character, or make a costume from all the character's outfits and dress as the thing itself. If you don't like something you can always change it. You can, of course, go to a costume store and just pick something you like if you still can't think of anything. Googling "halloween costume ideas" might bring some things up - I don't know, I haven't checked.
I hope to god she'll let me go again this year.
If she doesn't let us we're going anyways.

Wow, why wouldn't she let you celebrate Halloween? that's just crazy. Hope this year it'll be allowed.

I haven't gone out for Halloween in years. I started going to parties when I was older but then I moved and now I don't know anyone. I guess I could use my Black Widow cosplay from FanExpo as a costume. I don't really have anything better.

Hell, I have a bunch of black dresses and a black wig. I just need a witch's hat and I could go as that for the sixty thousandth time. One year I just put on a skirt and some striped leggings, a blouse, and a corset and a hat with a feather and called myself a pirate. I tend to half-ass Halloween even if it is my favourite holiday. I just haven't had any reason to celebrate for the last couple years.

I save my costumes for conventions.

I'm apparently too old for Halloween, plus my neighborhood is full of thugs and hardcore Christians neither of which are very open to children running arounf and having fun, so I''ll just wear my normal ensemble, buy some candy and stuff my face.

I was thinking of putting a black sheet over my body with both of my hands in front holding an apple like the Twilight book, but since that didn't work, I've decided to become a prison inmate from Orange Is The New Black.

I haven't 100% decided yet! My idea is a Zombie Ballerina (they haven't had that on the Walking Dead, yet)! In two weeks, our ballet class has a big fundraiser, and one of the things they sell are some of the old costumes that are faded or becoming rough looking! I'll buy one and be and have my friend do the make up! It'll be really cool!

I'm going to be purple. Literally. I saw this purple spandex bodysuit that completely covers your entire body and I'm going to wear that with a purple boa and a purple hat and other purple accessories. I'll be the purpleist guy ever.

Whatever...but b careful of wearing "cloth like" items....once around 14 I dressed like a Roman Soldier. Cos I did not know how to sit down in a "skirt"..everybody got to see the white briefs I wore under every time I sat down....pretty embarrasing ......and nobody told me until after the event until a few girls I kno made fun of me.

That sounds embarrassing. Cloth-like usually also alludes to cheapness and irritating fabrics as well.

Something about this sounds so fabulous even Ru Paul would go, "Girl!"
