Here we are again. Same stuff this year, and even worse depression. School year is back. This is just bad. Will have to wake up early, won't have free time most of the afternoon, and I really really hope to find time to cycle. I don't know why, but on these days I can't just keep happy. There is stuff that does cheer me up but no matter how hard I try there's just something that reminds me that stuff won't be the same again for 9 months. I'm back to my old routine, eat early, sit down in the same couch again, and wait for the best time of the day, which is sleeping. Lame I know.

The thing I'll miss the most is the afternoons. I won't just be able to chill and patiently wait for the time to go cycling, but I'll study, and if I have time and the weather allows it, I'll leave on my bike for as much as I can, just until it goes dark, which at the earliest will be 6:05PM on December 6th. I can't quite do this right now. It's been such an epic summer I can't just let go. It's like when your best friend is falling down a cliff: you can't let his hand go. You hold on until you can't, and then just cry your eyes out.

Heres where i struggle to give you advice.

That's what being a teen is all about. Doing shit things to make non shit things happen.

Without school you cant fly. But you can cycle now.
With school you can fly . But you cant cycle as much.
With school you get money from flying. You can do cycling in all your free time with the best bikes.

You're almost done the shit things and i know your strong enough to get through. Just imagine you after school is over:

'hello this is your pilot nick speaking, today we'll be flying to Spain then im going out on my bike'

And you could be a psychiatrist on the side haha

You're just awesome. It's kind of hard to find the bright side of this right now, but you did help, and I have to thank you. I know I'm strong, but you know, lights went out and I need to find the spare to turn on.

Nick, I know how you're feeling, and I know too much school work can make us stop doing the things we most love, but I guess you need to think a bit ahead; think about your future career as a pilot, and how much you'd love to accomplish that. It's hard work, you'll have to make lots of sacrifices, like I did, and sometimes not everything will go like you planned, but at the end of the day, you'll look back and think: "It didn't go so bad". And this cycle goes on and on, and it gets boring, and you'll feel tired, but trust me, your ultimate goal is what you're working for, just like climbing a mountain, reach the summit, and then appreciate the landscape you can see from up there. I know you can do this. Good luck (:

So now do I have to travel back until the start? :P I'd love that, more summer for me.

Ugh, I can relate to this so much. When I got back from my summer trip, it was like falling off a cliff. (A baby one. Small enough to not kill you, but tall enough to make moving seem impossible. :P )

Hang in there. I hope things start looking up soon somehow.
