Why is it Mums always know how to make you feel better, even if they dont mean to, just had a 5 minute conversation with my Mum and everything seems ok now. Its godlike.

I wouldn't know, my mum has a bad habit of making things worse. But parents are only human. I try not to fault her. She does her best as a parent even if she doesn't really know how to deal with the emotional side of things. It depends on the person. You're lucky your mum is like that.

My my is incapable of making anything better, often she just exasperates a situation.

You're lucky, every time I talk to my mother I always feel worse. Honestly I wouldn't even answer when she calls if I didn't feel obligated to. So yes, don't take her for granted, good parents can be hard to come by in this day and age.

i have a mom like yours. she knows when i'm sad and makes me feel better without asking what the problem is, she just knows i need some love.

My mom is like yours, though not with everthing and the way I'd like her to. Still she does a good job at making me feel better, I think it is because she knows me quite well and truly wants what's best for me.

My mom can have days where she makes me feel like shit, but otherwise she is a pretty good mom.

Your Mom sounds really nice...I don't know what it's like to have a Mom cuz I never really met mine.

An average mom then. Mine does the same.
