I was born in the Philippines and stayed there for about 1 year before moving to the UK. I have 2 other sisters and 1 brother.
I do know that I can't move at 16 without parental permission
I raised up the question about moving at 16 to my mum. For some reason, she didn't like the idea. It's extremely ironic as she complains I spend all her money and need to become more independent.
Anyone help?

I would explain to you parents why you want to move. Tell them everything. If you think it is best for you, tell them that. I could understand why they want you to move though. They are probably worried. Just reassure them that you will be alright! Hope this helps!

Explain to your parents why you would like to move out, and that you're not pretending to be someone you're not emphasizing on this.

I wouldn't recommend living in London alone at the age of 16 unless you've got a lot of money in the bank and a large group of friends

I wouldn't recommend living alone at 16 in general. I lived alone briefly when I was 17 but I still had a parent paying all the bills for me. It's a lot of financial and personal responsibility most 16-year-olds are not capable of. I'm 19 and still living at home because I can't find a job and even if I did, it wouldn't be enough to make a proper living and go back to school.
Remember, when you move out, you're on your own. Some parents are willing to help out but others will say that you made the decision to leave so you're out to fend for yourself. Give it a couple more years and I think you'll be glad that you chose not to move out so soon.

I wouldn't recommend living in London at any age unless you've got a lot an armoured car, a bodyguard and are fluent in Arabic

In what way if moving out at 16 being British? Your mum sounds fairly ignorant saying that, no offence to her, but she sound's like she has no idea what's going.
Anyway, I wouldn't move out at 16, that's just going to make life harder for you than it needs to be.

I wouldn't recommend moving out at that age, but your mom needs to be nicer.
