I know i have made at least like what, 20 posts about my height..but anyways im posting again. Anyways its not really about my height or anything, but i was just wondering when did u start getting like armpit hair, and stuff. Also when did you grow.

I am asking this, because well im in 7th grade (Yes im 13 dont worry), and well all my friends are atleast a few inches taller than me (in 7th grade), and probably developed more. Also i have some friends in 8th grade, and most of my friends in 8th grade are like what, 5'8? And are like fully developed, no joke..lol

Anyways my question is when did u start growing and like developing lol. (i have like pubic hair and stuff, but i still havent grown at all. (Im as tall as the 6th graders..lol, very embarrising)

Also my brother is in 4th grade, and hes as tall as me, which ive stated before, but anyways, does this mean i have like a short gene or something? Cause my moms like 5'6 and my dads like 6'1, or 6'2. Anyways is there a way to figure out what height im going to be, and when im going to have my growth spurt? Also could this just me im a late bloomer? Or does it mean im going to be like 5'5 like my mom? Cause all my friends (8th grade now) grew like literally 6 inches in 7th grade. I just want to know whats going on, cause its bothering me aton, especially how when im hanging out with my 8th grade friends, they sorta tease me about my height.

P.S Im 4'11...lol

Oh yeah also, my dad said he didnt grow till high school, like first year..but i still dont understand how my brother grew so much, considering that my dad didnt grow till high school. (As in like growth spurt and stuff)

P.S: Normally i only grow like 2 inches per year... is that normal or like under average?

You're only 13. You can't possibly make a judgement of how tall you're going to be from your height now. I'm going to assume you've just recently started puberty (or have yet to start), there isn't anything wrong with that. I wouldn't even go as far as to consider you as a late bloomer. I don't think you need to be worrying about it. You have plenty of time to grow.

2 things basically,

1. your not really supposed to post twice in row, you could have just edited the first post to include the second part,
2. everyone develops at their own rate, you could just be a little slow at growing, im 16 and still have very little armpit hairs but i am around 6 foot tall, i started growing around year 9 and up to then, i was the same size as everyone shoulder,

not everyone grows at a certain age, some grow when they are young (11/12 years old) and some grow when they are slightly older (13/14/15) the only way to find out whether or not you will grow at any time soon is to wait and see. it could take a year for your growth spurt to come, or meybe even longer, you just have to be patient and wait for it to arrive

Hope this helps

I had a friend in highschool who was short all his life.

In 10th grade, i was 6'. He was much shorter.

By 11th grade, he was an inch taller than me.
