I have always taken my dads advice but I don't think I should in this area. My dad told me that the girl I like is fat/chubby and will push me around. How can she be pushy if she is so quiet around me but so outgoing to everyone else (shy). I don't care if a girl if chubby, I mean some girls look attractive when a little chubby, some girls don't… To me anyway. But my dad told me to go for a girl who seems slim and tall. I don't care about looks but how they treat me as a person.

But do you think I should take my dads advice or should I just go with it myself? I mean, it is my life, but sometimes the life advice from parents is the most important advice you will get.

I don't understand how someone being chubby or otherwise would make them any more pushy. Some people have a pushy personality others not but it has nothing to do with weight.

No, my dad thinks I shouldn't start a relationship with her because:
1. She is chubby. My dad thinks I should go for a skinny slim girl. I don't care about how she looks just how she treats me.

2. That she will be pushy. How can she be pushy if she hardly even talks to me. She only stares and asks questions on rare occasions. Like once she asked me if I had eaten something. Is that her being pushy. Don't think so, it's her being caring.
