Hi everyone. So, I'm in a writing/journalism class. The students are in my grade, as well as the grade older than me. I have this really big crush on this kid in my class (the older grade though). I mean, I literally can't stop thinking about him. In class, I have a tendancy to hide behind my computer. He doesn't even know I exist. I don't dress like all the other girls at my school. I wear my hair in high ponytails or a braid, I wear plaid/loose fitting shirts, sweatpants or jeans, and my paddock boots or sneakers. I'm not pretty, but I wouldn't consider myself ugly. I have big brown (a lighter dark brown) eyes, brown hair with a few highlights going a little passed my shoulders, and I'm a decent height (he's a few inches taller than me though).
He seems really nice, he rarely sais rude/bad words, and he finishes his class work on time. He was once being a little rude to this other girl in my class (she's from a different country), but he made sure she knew he was just teasing her.
I really can't stop thinking about him, and have no idea what to do, i'm at a crossroads here and I need some advice (ask me if you need more information please).

Go walk up to him and just start as friends. Act as if it's the first time seeing him. He might get a little creeped that you have a crush on him without knowing him well.

Yeah as others have said just be cool with it and strike up a conversation about something like school or sports teams or something you can have a chat about and take it from there. That way he'll notice you more :)

Best way to strike up a conversation, talk about one of his writing pieces.
