How do others feel when having to change in the locker room? I guess specifically going into junior high and never had to do that before?
My body started changing a lot this summer and I will find myself noticing other girls change and it feels exciting to me. Has this happened to anyone else?

yeah, its happened to me, it was odd but i liked it and no body really noticed.
oh and it turned out for me at least that i like girls a bit as well, i still like guys as well. i think its normal for puberty

Same here, it doesn't hurt to have a look (unless they really don't like it and punch you or something xD) cause it's always interesting to see what other girls look like

you can look and not be obvious you are looking...even when I was little swimming at the Y and when I did competitive swimming (almost 9 years) I was changing in the locker rooms so I got used to it...so when I got to jr high I had no problem being seen naked or seeing others naked...

Its nice to see that everyone is different, all different size and shape of breast, nipples and areolas, some of us are shaved, trimmed bushy, or have a landing strip. some of us have labia that hangs down and some of us just have a slit, so its a learning experience. Doesn't bother me. When I was in high school, I went to a performing arts school. That meant changing constantly and dealing with costumes and whatnot. People changed in the halls outside their lockers. I did. For the dance shows, everyone changed in the gym together. Guys and girls. No one saw anything we haven't seen before and we were all mature enough to give a respectful amount of privacy to one another. I had one of my guy friends helping me do up the back of my bra under my costume.

I didn't find it arousing or anything or even curious. I know what parts both girls and boys have and I didn't really care. I can't even say I was older, I was like 14. But I guess I just wasn't interested the same way some of you seem to be.

I was on a swim team for 8 years, it didn't really bother me. The other girls and I just went about our own business while changing. I'm sure a lot of people may feel awkward, mainly around the first time they're changing, but eventually people get used to it and are fine. Well, at least that's how I felt.

I was really self-conscious about it at first. One of my friends suggested that I go from my locker to the showers completely naked, no towel around me. After doing that a couple times in the locker room both at school and at my gym, I basically had no worries about it. A lot of women do that at the gym, so I felt less self-conscious and more like I fit it there.

Depends on how close the girls are really. Fondling each others breasts and butts is just a myth though. The most I've personally done is pinch another girls nipple for a second cause it was poking through her shirt and I thought it was going to be funny.

Hi AmyLe... when i first moved to high school i was a bit like conscious about changing in the locker room but I'm kinda used to it now coz i guess we are all going through the same things. I must admit that i do find it kinda exciting too and i don't suppose theres any harm in comparing but I'm usually really discrete coz I'm really shy.
