Although I personally dislike Vista in too many ways to mention, I thought since nobody had posted about this yet, I'd let everyone know that SP1 for Vista is out as of a few days ago.

Windows Update (http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/)
Standalone Installer: x64 (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=874A414B-32B2-41CC-BD8B-D71EDA5EC07C) | x86 (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=B0C7136D-5EBB-413B-89C9-CB3D06D12674)Be forewarned, the Standalone installer for x86 is 434MB, and the Standalone for x64 is 726MB.

Downloading on a slow connection is not advisable. Download it elsewhere if possible, and transfer it via Flash Drive, CD, or something, if you want it.

I'm not sure if it's available from Windows Update or not. It claims it is, but I've heard some say it's not showing up. It may be a smaller download from Windows Update, but I'm not sure. I know with XP SP1 & 2, the Windows Update Install of SP1 or 2 was always a fair amount smaller.

At last, hopefully it kicks out a lot of bugs :)

I believe the Windows Update version is smaller depending on what updates you already have installed. Each service pack includes every update released for the OS up to that point.

Plus other updates and changes that aren't available separately.
