Shaving under the arm

I've always wondered if it would be weird, crazy, or just abnormal to shave under the arm. I've never shaved under it, just trim a little.

Who shaves?
or even trims?

And would be it 'out of the normal' if I did? Like if another dude saw my with shaved pits, would he say anything about it? Cause I know girls shave and didn't know if most dudes associate that with it.

First of all, I've never shaved or trimmed my pit hair. I don't mind it so I choose to leave it there :P

My best advice would be for you to do whatever the hell you want to your pit hair. IT'S YOURS! If someone else comments, say you prefer it that way. They shouldn't ask because it's really none of their business.

When it comes to shaving any part of your body, nothing is abnormal. Everyone has different grooming regiments and no one is the same.

I have trimmed and shaved my armpit hair and it feels and looks great I've also managed to sweat less. I say do what you feel. Trim it first and if you wanna go further then go ahead :)

It actually isn't itchy at all. At first it's uncomfortable, but after a day, you're fine.

As iloveladygaga said, Its your body, you're growing the hair, not others. If you choose to shave or trim it, then go ahead.

As for me, I have the body of a 12 year old, Im short, skinny but I've got hair. Pubic hair, armpit hair , trail and leg hair. I don't have much armpit hair so I don't worry with it but I don't think its weird for you to want to trim or shave your armpit hair.... or any hair for that matter.

I have an electric shaver so I give my armpits a number 2 so they aren't bare, keeps them looking maintained.

My brother and I spent a lot of time at water park over summer. Started wearing speedos and a trim of pubic hair didn't seem enough so we started shaving, ended up shaving each other so we were totally hairless from neck down. We like the look and feel so still do it. Many of our team mates have decided to do so as well. So do try it. It is your comfort.

well i dont have any pit hair and its kinda that way with most of the guys in my family, but i have college friends and some of them shave it off completely, they like the smooth look of the body. so no its not weird, professional body builders do it, so why not you?

You could shave it. I usually do in the summer when it gets hot and sweating happens more often. I think its kind of gross actually, no homo. And from your avatar it seems like you could pull such a thing off. It only looks funky on skinny or fat dudes.

it was like, super itchy for the four days after i did it because my skin is rather sensitive and i usually just rage away at any kind of body hair with any kind of sharp object and see what happens ;~; currently it stopped beeing itchy so i guess it's normal heh

i personally just find it plainly stupid seeing someone get super emotional over a trivial thing like this.
i know my close friend doesnt care much, but she does say that if guys shaves his chest he should shave armpits too, otherwise it looks odd

It's normal. Many guys shave their underarm hair. I do it too. It has nothing to do with being feminine or whatever. Guys do it for hygiene, or maybe they just find it annoying.
