I tried to learn 3ds max and blender a few times, but I always come up to a problem that makes it impossible for me to continue, holes, how am I supposed to create simple holes? I use google sketchup because I am forced to,since I can't learn how to make them. In sketchup you simply draw a shape, pull it and there, you have a hole,2 steps and that's it! And in bigger 3d programs I always came up to things like bolean or something and 15 minute long tutorials on how to make a simplest possible hole,so is there hopefully something that I am missing or is it really that hard to do a thing that simple? (and no,I don't want to always create a cylinder or something first,I just want to be able to make a hole to an already finished model)

Same question.
I'm an engineering student (sort of, I'm in 9th grade), and I use an Ipad. I'm looking for a good sketching app, it has to have graph paper tho, and it would be great if I could just choose a shape or a line and then do whatever I want with it as I have fine motor impairments.
OP: I can't tell you anything about computers, sorry.

I'd say AutoCad was the best, I've used that, Blender and 3DS Max, I'd say auto cad was the best, your not really going to find am easy one, 3D modeling is hard to learn no matter what, have you thought about taking a course in it at your local college?

Seems like a simple Boolean subtraction, but okay.
I'm seconding Joe here w/ AutoCAD.
