At school, I tend to like to stay by myself or have close guy friends as opposed to girl friends. The problem with this is I am a cuddly person; I love giving hugs and helping my friends cheer up when they are sad. So when I hang out with a bunch of guys and hug them and mess around with them, people say I'm flirting when actually I'm just acting like myself. I have been called a lot of names for this, particularly a slut and different variations of that. I thought summer would give me a break, but it's been pretty rough on me. I go back to school in two days and I really don't want to deal with this any more. If anyone has advice I'd appreciate the help, thank you.

Keep doing you and if you get called out, you should just ignore them. I see you do no harm to others and you're just having a great time. Just love yourself, hang out with your close friends and I guarantee, you won't worry so much. Another thing, make sure you get your education because that's important also!!! :)

Sadly people love making other people feel bad. Nothing you can do about it. Just try to say to yourself: 'these people are calling me names because they are jealous of me and inferior to me. I don't have to listen or care about it.'
That might help you handle it; good luck
