There is this girl who I feel is interested in me but is shy. Im unsure as to if the signs are actually signs of her being interested in me.
She gives me glances from the side of her eye and also fully. When I catch her looking fully at me, she looks away.
She rarely speaks to me/asks me questions. I usually start conversations and ask questions and she responds giving low amount of eye contact but doesn't keep the conversation going. She talks normally with other people, starting conversations giving full eye contact even when I'm around her.
When passing things to each other, she always seems to try and make a way for me to touch her hand.
She asked me if I had eaten something one night. (its really rare for her to ask me questions, this was a surprise as it also seems she cares for me).
Her friend called me by my name when saying hi to me. I found this weird as I haven't introduced myself to her friend, she doesn't know my name. Later I saw her friend give glances while talking to this girl I feel is interested in me, and also both looked at me smiling when I walked passed them.
The two most common signs are that she always gives me glances/looks but never/rarely speaks to me. I have tried to show her I'm interested in her. I placed my hand on the middle of her lower back (waist area), she looked over her shoulder, saw me, looked down and smiled.
So what do you think, are these subtle signs of her being interested in me?
