I still wet the bed it is becoming embarrassing coming up with excuses to decline offers from friends for sleepovers and not inviting them over. Does anyone else have this problem

It's a tough problem that you have, but there is definitely treatments you can get to help with your problem. I would see a urologist because at your age bedwetting is something that should have stopped by now. You genuinely might have a problem not being able to hold in your urine, but I am sure a urologist can figure things out.
As for sleepover with your friends, I think you're doing the right thing by not doing them or having friends over because it would be awkward if you have an accident while they're around. My thinking is the only way a sleepover at your house could work is if your friend sleeps in a different bedroom, but then that would kind of defeat the purpose of a the sleepover. I would not feel discouraged because you can still hang out with your friends, and until you can get a handle on your problem, then just avoid sleepovers for now. If your friends are really understand and good and ask why you cannot do so, then just be honest with your problem.
I hope things work out for you.

go see a doctor. It may be something you can solve :)
also, don't be embarrassed. You can't help it.

It could be a sign of a medical problem, such as a UTI. I'd definitely check in with your doctor.

I think the first thing you've to do is go to a doctor to see why do you wet the be.
With respect to sleepovers, in the morning you've to strip the bed right away before they notice it or tell them the true, adding that you are taking some medicine or you receive a temporary treatment and that's why you wet the bed.

Have seen threads like this here before and believe me your not the only one who has this problem at our age!
If it's something you just started doing then it could be a sign of a psychological problem. Like kids who suffer some kind of psychological trauma start wetting the bed. Or it could be some medical problem that started.
But if you have been wetting your whole life like I have....then it's probably not something you need to rush off to the doctor about. In my case it's from my messed up neurology which the docs know all about. I always wear pull ups type stuff when spending the night in a bed that's not mine.
It's WONDERFUL that your friends know and are cool with it. :)

I still at home when i think i need to play it safe....but anywhere else is a must. My bed wetting slowed down a lot by the time I turned 13. Hopefully that will happen for you too....but if not no biggie :)

I have this problem. It's slowed down A LOT, so I assure you, it will go away. Also it is highly treatable. You may have to take drugs for the rest of your life, but who cares about that over wetting the bed?
Also, don't be embarrassed. Kids understand this more than you think. Wetting the bed never stopped me from getting invited to a sleepover, and the friend who invited me knew I had this problem. :)
