So recently, I've been getting into music like indie/pop, for example, MØ, Lorde, Florence & The Machine, and since Marina produced her first album all on her own, I'd say Marina & The Diamonds. Does anyone have any other recommendations for people like these? (I listen to Sia also, sometimes but I don't consider her indie/pop...?)

Haim, New Politics, Arctic Monkeys, Indila (but all her songs are in French), MS MR, Shiny Toy Guns, Vampire Weekend, Echosmith, Band of Skulls, The Mowgli's, Gin Wigmore, Alex Hepburn, Kate Nash

I have the same taste in music (Lorde and Marina are among my favorites), so I just recommended a bunch that might go well.

It's not exactly indie, but part of the whole indie scene... Post-rock!

"Indie" is a pretty broad term, but I normally like the stuff that comes from there. :P

Indie is one of those really weird terms like "pop" and "alternative" that have less to do with the music itself than the way it was produced or received, so it's always funny to me when it's treated like other music genres (I'm not saying you aren't acknowledging what indie actually means- it's apparent that you are, I just find it funny)

But anyways, yeah. I listen to a fair amount of indie. Like, a lot. I'm too lazy to name off specific bands. If it's popular, you bet I've probably heard it, especially if it's '00-'10.
