OK so a few months ago, i started to like this girl in the year/grade above me, I only used to see her for about 5 mins everyday at school so i talked to her at every opportunity i had. Then a few weeks i started to like another girl
Here's abit about each girl
Girl 1: A year older than me, very popular, funny, but a little shy.
Girl 2: A year younger than me, very popular as-well but she is the sister of a girl who i am friends with and outgoing.
My problem is i can't decide which girl to pursue. At first i decided to go after girl 2 but every time i did i kept stopping myself at the last minute thinking i made a mistake and i should go for girl 1.
Now every time i go to talk to any of them i think ive made a huge mistake and that i should go after the other one. So now i can't talk to either of them.
Can anyone help me?
Which girl should i choose?

I'd go for the second one, mainly because if you did like the first one you wouldn't have started to like the second. That's always how I view a two person potentail situation. But at the end of the day, you're the one that has to have a deep think about what you personally want. A pros and cons list could help this too.

Leprechaun pretty much covered what I was going to say. Just go for the girl you can picture a future with. If you happen to choose the second one, confirm with your friend that it is okay to date her sister. I completely understand your concern.

I'd say go for the second one as well .
There's an advantage too: she's the sister of your friend.

Ok, say i did go for the second girl, My problem is whenever i go over to try to talk to her i freeze and think ive made the wrong choice, that is when i do actually see her as i can go quite a few days without seeing her and when i do see her she is usually with a bunch of her friends, My other problem is im not very good at trying to talk to a girl when she is with her friends, usually i talk to girls when they're on there own. Can anyone help?

I have an unorthodox opinion. I would say that you should go for neither of them for now. Siobhan is right, a pros and cons list is a good idea, but I think you should get to know them both a bit better and take a step back from think about a relationship right now. I'm thinking if you go for one of them now, you'll be thinking 'what if?' questions about the other girl because you still aren't sure if you've done the right thing.

I honestly don't know
Well, then, one day, you'll realize that, so you better choose the one who cares about you the most.

go with the second one.
if you really liked the first one, you wouldn't have gained feelings like this for the second

Your right, I don't know which of them i want.
OK so i just had my first day back at school and i didn't see either girl today at all. I saw the second girls sister, but not her.
I know im gonna see her tomorrow but the only problem is she is sat around with her friends so i don't know how to approach a conversation if she has her friends right next to her.

For me, choose the 2nd one because you wouldn't be attractive to other girls if you know you're really in love with the first one. Get me?

Ok, after thinking about it for the past few days, Ive decided to go for the second girl.
theirs a couple of problems though
1. At the moment, I never seem to get a opportunity to talk to this girl on her own. I always see her with her friends, so how to i go about talking to this girl when her friends are around?
2. Somebody said i should ask her sister if its ok to date her, would " Hey would it be ok if i asked your sister out" be good enough.
3. This girl looks a year or two younger than her actually age and i look a few years older than mine despite her only being a year younger. Will anyone comment on it?
4. Her sister (my friend) is quite protective of her, What do i do if her sister doesn't want me to date her sister?
