Filing system for files and web things

Hi, do you guys use a web filing system? I've been using podout.com to collect bookmarks, files and a few other things. Do you guys use anything similar?

I use the built-in bookmark organiser that Google Chrome has.

I just use it to store articles, studies, and reports mostly, which can be easily organised in themed folders.

I use Opera Link, if that counts.

I'm reluctant to entrust any of these online providers with that information, because if they decide to call it quits as they often do(they got bought by Google or ran out of money), then all my data is gone just like that.

I just use a large database with a few SQL queries.
