like american high relationships are great. like people glancing and smiling at eachother, acting all shy then getting to go to a dance with them.
in england (or at least the north east) you just go out drinking cheap alcohol, end up making out with them then start "talking" to them.
or the other way is that you have feelings for someone then accidentally tell them when youre drunk and they might tell you the same thing. then you wake up sober and realize the mistake you made

All that mushy shit is a f**kin lie. You cant believe the fu*kin movies. We just cant legally get alcohol and we drink the real shit(moonshine, jack daniels) ya know? Real antidepressants.
Our relationships are the same( fights, arguments, kisses, snuggles, hugs, disagreements) no difference to yalls

I wish it was like that here, but...unfortunately it isn't.

Those kinds of relationships DO exist here, but they are rare.

everyone who asks for relationship advice on here says something like "a guy keeps glancing at me" like in england that would be "he met is when we were out" its just not as cute

I'm guessing they pay more attention to someone else in that situation then.
A lot of relationships, where I live in America at least, don't last too long before something bad happens and the relationship ends. Whilst it is cute and all, they don't last too long. A bit odd in my opinion.

Lets face it though, Newcastle and Sunderland aren't particularly pleasant places... And its famous for binge drinking...

can confirm that this is alive and well in some places, mostly smaller towns. a few of my friends have met their girlfriends this way. as far as the relationships lasting, it seems hit or miss.
one of my friends is from a rural area of Texas and apparently there most girls still expect the classic courtship rituals before anything else can happen (he took her to the rodeo a few times) yeehaw.

My last IRL relationship started by me accidently telling g someone when I was drunk, and it leaking its way to her....who said romance is dead?
