Lately, despite taking my migraine medication, my almost daily migraines have been coming back and getting more and more unbearable to the point where I can't move or I'll throw up, or even nighttime is blinding light. Apparently its caused by my anemia and stress... what can I do?

You may have built up tolerance to your current medication so it's not working effectively....and can even make the problem worse.

go back to your doctor and have him/her adjust or change your meds since they're clearly not working.

Yup ^

After a while the effects if medication can wear off in some patients, even if the dose is kept the same each day, your body may have become resistant to the drug, city happened to me with some medication for psychosis, talk to your docrtor, usually the problem can be easily solcved by changing Tue dose to a higher one,(seriously, consultr a doctor before doing that) or changing to a different type of medication.

Go back to your doctor & tell him what's happeniing. You may need your medication changed.
Also avoid eating cheese and chocolate. These can also trigger off migraine attacks

Yeah go back to the doctors. I had migraines too, so I'd say get prescribed real pain killers cuz that's what actually works. Also take a lot of vitamins, and get exercise.

Are you taking a sumatriptan?

I heard that magnesium can help against migraines. My dad has them, and takes magnesium everyday. He's unsure of the results, though.
