So recently I've been listening to a shit ton of Enter Shikari. Enter Shikari are a four-piece rock band formed in 2003 in St Albans, Hertfordshire. They are well known for their crossover style incorporating post-hardcore and various heavy metal sub-genres, such as metalcore and alternative metal, with elements of various electronic genres, such as industrial, dubstep, trance, and occasionally drum and bass, creating a very distinct sound. I love them because of the electronic music influence. I really only listen to electronic music and so to see these guys make such a crossover it's just awesome.

Also they went to my school!! They live just down the road from me!! I've played on the same stage as them!! (because I'm a DJ)

My favorite song by them is destabilise. I love it so much!!
Also check out 'Gandhi Mate, Gandhi' the opening verse is incredible!

Gosh they are overrated as all fuck. I mean they have a few good songs and I like the message they convey, but most of the songs come off as the worst parts of hardcore combined with the worst part of techno. The best music these guys have out so far was that recent EP, the albums are really sub-par.

I listened to a couple of musics of theirs, and while it's not my cup o' tea, I can see why people like 'em so much. They've a nice (although repetitive) blend electronic and rock.

Aha Ghandi Mate, Ghandi is one of the only Enter Shikari songs I like. I was at Warped UK '13 and they were the last act of the second day and I saw their intro but had a 2 hour drive home so had to leave early. They were pretty good live, they can get a crowd going I would have loved to be in one of their mosh pits it looked mental but I prefer them live with the atmosphere than on their CDs. I don't play them very often, the techno sound isn't my thing.
