I would wax but since after a while you can permanently damage the hair, I wouldn't only because I might want to grow it back for some reason in the future. (Haven't got a clue why I would though)

I use one of my electric shavers with a special piece made for trimming down there and I take my time shaving, just don't go to fast or you will irritate your skin and it will NOT be comfortable

I never wax (maybe just because the waxing stuff isn't easy to obtain and get rid of?), but I have shaved once or twice. I remember I shaved once, then realised that I was in a position where I may have to get naked in front of other people (showering in changing rooms) just a few weeks later.. Luckily about 1cm had grown back by then, but it was still very awkward (for me anyway, I don't think anyone else noticed..)
