Down There Smells Funny Sometimes

Most of the time I don’t smell my V at all but sometimes it smells a bit funny and I wonder if anybody else can smell it and I get embarrassed :whoops: about it.

Is it something I’m doing or not doing.

I keep myself scrupulously clean.

It's possible you may have got an infection there. Best bet is get an appointment with your doctor (or practice nurse) who may take a swab.

I'd agree, if you're washing regularly and the smell is reoccurring it might be best to ask your doctor.

If the smell happens often, it may be an infection, as the others said. However it sounds to me like it's an occasional thing. If it's near your period it could be just a bit of the blood or dirty discharge, but if it's just a little bit you may not be able to see it. Also if you happen to have a lot of discharge or you're aroused and wet, it could have a small odor. Occasionally you won't clean yourself as well as you thought and you may smell a little bit, but don't worry, it's mostly you being paranoid, I'm sure nobody else can smell it. As long as it's not something that happens every day, and clears up when you clean yourself, you should be okay.

You could be near your period, that can sometimes cause smell.
