Boyhood

Boyhood was one of THE BEST movies I have ever seen! I recommend this movie to everybody. It came out in middle of july, so it may not still be in theaters some places, but when it comes out on dvd, BUY IT!!! It is a movie that took twelve years to film (2002-2014) with the same cast. It shows the life of a boy as he literally grows up right in front of your eyes, from age 6 to age 18. He endures all the life experiences and hardships typical of most boys during their childhood, and we see him grow up on screen. It's not a documentary, but it has the same cast that spent twelve years filming it, a little each year. It is very anticlimactic, but it is so natural and casual, it is just so different and SO AMAZING!!!!!

I watched it the other day, good movie, and I think that the length of the production is just fascinating - as an actor, I can't even imagine what it would be like to be committed to one project for 12 years.

OMG I saw some articles about this movie on IMDB!!! This movie scored a perfect 100/100 on IMDB's Metascore! It never got released in theaters around me so I gotta wait for it to come out on DVD :(

Looks like an interesting film to watch, but I've never had the time to go and see it. It's definitely unique though.
