I get paid 3,5 euros per hour at work as 14 year old, is this a fair salary? How old are you people and what salary do you have?

I don't have a fixed one, mine varies depending on how much work I do in the day

As a 14 year old babysitting I charge $6/hour - about 4.55 euros. There are lots of babysitters around here charging $10 or more, but I think $6 is reasonable. Compared to yours, however, I don't know.

So depends if I go fast or slow.

I babysat a lot when I was younger. When I was doing it for rich people's children I would charge 10-15 dollars and hour. When it was for a friend of the family I would charge like 20 bucks for the whole night.

why have a job and be a slave when you could devote your time to bettering yourself?
-choose a skill
-spend time perfecting it
-monetize it

by monetizing your skill that you spent time perfecting instead of slaving away for someone else you have the possibility to make much more money than your 15$/hr.

Whether what you earn is enough depends on where you live and what you do.
I live in an affluent part of California, and make between €10.95/hr to €11.40/hr (converted of course) in the tech sector, contracted(the best kind of employment when everyone else is at-will). This is not including taxes, which I think my dad includes on his forms.

If you live in a poorer part of your country and/or are doing something that is considered to be doable by anyone, it follows that there is not as much money to spend on salaries.

rougly $300 a week after taxes. my boss gave me a 30-cent raise after my 3-month review and acted like he was being extremely generous :lol3: meanwhile management cut 400 hours to avoid penalties to their bonuses (more like bone-us amirite?) I can just see these people frantically combing through the couch for those pennies.

My skill I love is coding and the only really way I could even get jobs if I knew people in the industry, but I don't. Jobs for teens are good because it teaches work ethic at a young age, working with others, and also balancing school work, hobbies, and social life, preparing them for the real world. But yes you are right but most things people wanna do requires a degree anyway so most just get a job.

What languages do you know? You should be able to easily make money if you're even a little bit skilled with computers.

The minimum wage here in Santa Clara county is $8/hr going up to $10/hr, but you'd have a better chance getting hit by a meteor than being able to get a job at age 14 around here. I don't work but my friend gets close to 10 dollars an hour.

Java and a little html just started a few months ago but still learning. And I know I'm hoping at 16 I can get a job at local computer shop, or even do freelance work when I get good.

That's what schools for ;) you work and go school learning a different skill that makes more money than your making now and when you graduate you get a job doing that. Like I work making $9 an hour but go to school welding where I can make anywhere from $25-$300 an hour after I graduate

thank you "professional russian" for your input, but im going to disagree partly, while what you said is true, especially for some subjects, it's not necessary to make a ton of money at any age. smart people will realize that all information is free, and if you study, practice, and apply enough you can educate yourself enough to monetize just as much or even more than if you had paid for your "education".

Find out what your minimum wage is for your age and country. If you find out it's too low, you can normally contact someone and you'll not only get the money back, but other stuff may happen, I'm not sure what it's like in your country. Normally you have to be paid via card, etc, and stuff.

My pay now is 11 dollars AUS which is 7.64 euros. Our minimum wage is something like 8 Aus (5.56 euros) so I don't know.

I get paid the same as everyone else. Just as long as you have a work permit here you should be fine. You get paid minimum wage which is 9 dollars an hour. Not bad.

I get $20.00/hr just by drivin the 844K-II front end loader around for a menonite company. I have a weekly quota and the keys, as long as i get the order done, i get paid, reguardless of if i show up at 6 am or noon.
