Help For A Friend Needed

Hey, my ex, Amy. We're still really close friends. And she's been going out with a guy for about 2 months.. she's completely in love with him, but he lied to her about going somewhere with another girl. He came round after, they had a huge argument, she slapped him round the face when he tried to hug her.

But she doesn't know what to do because she's still deeply in love with him but really hates him.

Any suggestions to what I can tell her to do?

Is he bigger than you? or small and puny?...if its the latter I'd go kick his ass.....violence is WRONG....

Seriously make sure she gets his full "story" on why he lied and where he was and why he was there
I'd suggest a cool down period as well like have her sleep on it er w/e

Well she pretty much has the full story. This girl, called Jenny, is a real slag and know as a "boyfriend stealer", and whenever he was with Jenny they were just all over each other. So Amy asked that he promised never to see her, and he said he promised on her life. So yesturday he went on a trip to alton towers, and had a feeling that Jenny was going with him because she said she was going, but didn't say what day.

Later on that evening she went on his msn, and Jenny said "she's on to me", because Amy had been asking questions. So that was when she knew he had been with her. Also someone else who was on the trip said that they has been together.

But he's messed her about so much, I mean Amy has just been like crying all the time. He says all the wrong things to her, he gets in a mood with her for no reason and all sorts.

She knows that she can't forgive him, but she still loves him, and doesn't know what to do because she still doesn't want to lose him, yet she hates him so much.
