I’ve been sick since Friday. When I first got to school, I felt fine. But immediately after the first class I felt absolutely miserable. I could not stop coughing for the rest of the day and it was totally tearing up my muscles. On Saturday I had a fever of 101.8 which was unusually high, but the fever went down the next day.
It’s now Tuesday evening and although the coughing has subsided significantly, I’m nauseatingly lightheaded and starving. I haven’t been able to eat much since my lightheadedness makes it practically impossible to prepare any sort of food. I’ve been surviving on approximately a can of soup and a sandwich everyday since Friday. I feel like I’m starving, but I can’t seem to eat any more. I had half a bowl of soup before I felt like I couldn’t eat any more.
I know snacking would help this condition (little bits here and there), but my dad would just totally flip out about that if he saw that and complain about how “unhealthy†I am. I’m curious as to what on earth I could possibly be suffering from that causes this killer lightheadedness and for me to be starving to death.
