Alright ladies. Period question.

I've always been a little emotionally unstable during my period. I'll cry easier and get mad really quick and just get in these really bad moods. You know, stuff that I always thought of as normal "period stuff". But as I get older I notice it getting significantly worse.

The last couple of months, during my period week and the week before, I've been so unstable. I don't want anything to do with anyone; I don't want to talk to people or be around them. I cry incredibly easily, then 5 minutes later I'll be laughing hysterically at something. It's an emotional roller-coaster and by the end of the day I'm so exhausted from the extreme ups and downs. I'm not normally the most emotionally stable person, but when I'm on my period I'm just a total and complete bitch. I feel bad and depressed and angry and sad and just generally unpleasant constantly. It never used to be this bad. This has been going on for the past few months now.

Is anyone else like this? Is there anything you take to help? Any advice is welcome.

I do understand.

Just recently I was suicidal,to the point of making plans and the next day I was fine.

It's the weirdest thing.

Never had it this bad but I hear some girls are unlucky enough to get really bad mood swings just before their period and it can have a terrible impact on their daily life. If you feel it's really bad and stopping you from functioning on the days just before your period, talk to the doctor about it, I think there may be pills you can take.

I have bad periods but they ain't this bad. I'm so sorry to hear that you go through this.
I think it's time that you got an appointment with the doctor as us girls can't let Mother Nature bring us down and stop our lives can we? :)

There is medication you can take that will help you, I'm considering an appointment myself to see if I can control mine.
