Hey guys, so I have a bit of an issue. It's my senior year, and I want to go to Homecoming this year, because I have never gone before. I don't want to go alone, and there is this girl that I want to ask, but I'm not sure about her. I really didn't know her all that well till last year (Junior year) when we had wood shop class together. Depending on what was going on, we would just sit in the classroom and talk. She seemed to tease me when we would sweep up the shop by saying I missed spots all over the shop, then laugh at me when I couldn't find them. She waves and says "HI!" to me everytime I see her, and she always seems to be smiling at me. I've had a crush on her since my 8th grade year, before I even went to the school I'm currently at, so I've been secretly after her for a while. Should I bother with her?

I'd try asking her, definitely. It sounds like she likes you!
And even if she says no, go anyway. I cannot stress that enough. I graduate back in June and never went to a dance all through high school (my last one was in 8th grade). I regret it so much. Go, and have fun, date or not! :)

There's one problem.... If I want to ask her, she's one of those girls who wants to be asked to homecoming in a "Cute" way. I have no clue how to do that, other than take her shooting, and write on her target "Homecoming?"

I think you would be the best judge of what she finds cute but flowers/chocolates are likely be on her list. Something simple and sweet should probably do the job. Best of luck!!

Looks like a pretty good idea to me. You could also ask her with a card and a flower bouquet or I don't know, take her out on a date and tell her. I don't really know, a "cute" way is somewhat vague. But I really think you should ask her.

I think that's a great way to go at it! Very cute! :D

Here's another approach: She's one of the best softball players at our school, so I'll take a sharpie and a new softball, and write on it "I may strike out by asking, but will you go to homecoming with me?" and I'll put it in her locker after our fair break.

Make sure she knows you put it there so it works.

The softball one is a good idea.
For prom this year my boyfriend took me up to this place after dinner one night and he brought his camera and sparklers. He had practiced it enough to be able to write "Prom?" in the picture, so then when he showed it to me, well you get it from there!
So, if you know how to do that, it can be a cute way. Basically just requires sparklers and turning the shutter speed down on the camera!

I just hope something works. I've been rejected 4 times since I broke up with my clingy ex, so I hope this will be the one thing that works

There's no harm in trying at the end of the day and they are really nice ways of asking her. I would feel privileged if someone did this for me...

Yeah, like everyone else has said, there is no harm in trying. But in my opinion, I would try to get to know her a little bit better.

Our county fair is this week, so she and I will hopefully be talking a lot!
