Firstly, how old are you? I can't really tell you how well along your are. I'm 15, I just started getting armpit hair when I was in my early 14, and it just like grew like crazy, secondly, I've never heard of oily skin / acne = growth spurt, I mean, I suppose it could be true, but I'm not completely sure. So wait on some replies from some other people about that. Hope some of this helps.

P.S. As far as your friend, he's just early, normal. Like I said, I don't know how old you are but people develop later than others.

Well, your friend is just a bit further into puberty than you, there isn't any problem with that. Height really has nothing to do with when you will get hair, or anything else really, and neither does "oily skin" and "acne." It's possible that you are getting close to a growth spurt, but I can't say for sure. But as I said those two things have no correlation. Puberty is a developing state that we all go through at different times, and at different rates. It just takes time.

How old are you? can't get an idea if you don't say. It's all to do with everyone developing differently. Becuase your family is tall, odds are that you will be to, it's to do with genes, learn it in science. THe armpit hair thing, everyone gets it at diffenent times, you can be really tall and not hairy and someone else could be short and have lots of hair. It's rare that that happens but you get the idea. How does having oily skin effect your growth? I think your dad's joking about there. lol
