Big fan of the original, but I watched the backdoor pilot (NCIS S11E18/19) and loathed it.

NCIS is becoming like Law & Order with the amount of spin-offs, geez. Even NCIS itself is a spin-off. Crazy.
Who's casted for it?

So far it just says Mike R. Moreau on IMDB. He's involved in a lot of big movies including Jurassic World (2015), Dawn of the Planet of The Apes, and The Butler. I think the reason why they created NCIS: NO, is because they cancelled CSI Miami and CSI NY. CSI NY was my favorite of the bunch :(

Oh, interesting. I saw a poster for it the other day and it looks like they have a cast; perhaps the information just hasn't been updated yet. It is kind of incredible how many spin offs these crime procedural dramas get.

Are you interested in watching NCIS New Orleans?
Do you think it will stand a chance with the previous two already out, not to mention many other shows?

The concept is getting played out and the fake accents suck.

the only thing about crime shows that's faker than the dramatized forensics is the part where the cops work around the clock to catch the bad guys
